Has anyone claimed for a replacement screen through Adrian Flux?

I need to get one sorted on my derv, and I'm due to be going to Edinburgh (600 mile round trip) on Thursday, so need it sorting asap.

Tried calling their customers services, but they work 9-5.30 (Great for anyone who works in them hours).

I need to know how quick they can have it done, and also will they allow me to use a friend who can do them?

 

They use RAC and RAC's service is top notch.AF however were crap, I cracked the windscreen on my Corrado years ago and I rang them etc and they said to call rac and sort it out. Long story short RAC fitted the screen and billed me Ł1200!!! I said no my excess was Ł60 as on my policy (which was in my hand)

Got AF on the phone and they said they wouldn't pay untill I had payed my last installment. So as the screen was fitted I had to put it on my Dads credit card, and they payed me back 10 months later.

I wouldn't ever use them again

Just phoned the line and put me through to Auto Windscreens (Or Auto Glass) cant remember which and got it all sorted.

Woman was very helpful on the phone, tried me 4 different locations until somewhere could be arranged to do the job, paid a Ł70 excess over the phone and all sorted.

 

Sure this isn't for the windscreen thats missing in your ZS?

 

No mate I was fully insured, I was paying by installments though and they wouldn't pay untill I had finished paying my balance! Jokers. Sorry my mistake it was Auto Glass as above not RAC

count yourself lucky, a lot of insurers are removing windscreen cover full stop!!

 

Just to say, was all done great!

Ended up with 2 new screens, guy who fitted first one found the element had snapped on the new one, so got a second one fitted for free!

Great service from Auto Windscreens.
