I'm thinking of getting an XD-1 kit for my car, wideband lambda + gauge.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Innovate-XD-1-...QQcmdZViewItem
however i'm curious as to if i can wire the LM-1 up to both my ECU and the gauge
my ecu support wideband lamda, so i wouldnt wnt to use the narrowband emulated bit of it, i'd want both the gauge AND the ecu to both get the wideband output.
is this possible? can you just run the signal wire to both devices, or does it cause the signal to be wrong?

should be, but don't rely on it until you've tested it.
couldn't get hold of you on sunday evening jim. the number i had for you was wrong, and the second number just kept ringing. i'll try again sometime, busy for a while now.

Jim - I have one of these.
I may be wrong, so don't quote me on this, but I think you can use the kit to send info to two devices - ie the guage and your ECU.
This bit in the ad on ebay (if I'm reading correctly) seems to back this up:
It features the same industry-leading patented digital circuit found in the proven LM-1, and includes digital in & out, plus two programmable analogue outputs. The LC-1 can connect directly to the XD-1 for a standalone AFR gauge, and is ideal for using with an ECU
I don't think you need to 'spit' the signal so to speak - I think you can use one of those outputs or the digital out.
Of course I'm prob hopelessly wrong
, but that's how I think it works.

Me, I'm stuck now as I'm not using mine to be so clever as yours - mine is for tune up / diagnostics only. ECU is just a humble L8!
If you do find out let us know what the score is!
