Very Very strange, Little help needed

Default Very Very strange, Little help needed

Just a bit of quick help really


I had a race of the lights to nite againt a 827 rover vetese thing ( beat it of course ) but about a quater of a mile up the road when i stopped at the lights my tappets went absolutely mental and started tapping for fun, got home and checked the oil and it was all fine.

the noice did stop when i pulled of from the lights but very strange why they went mad

any suggestions there guys what is was ???

Hmmm, sounds strangely reminiscent of when my runarounds engine let go last year. If it's a CVH (which I'm guessing lol) then it could well be some muck in the oil pick up in the sump - although it's a pain to get the sump back on without forever leaking oil!
