Default Big up Karl - NMS gunship ROCKS!

Big up Karl (Norris Motor-Sport)

Last week he converted my Moondust Silver Saph (4x4) to NMS gunship spec (NMS chip + live map).

The performance is astounding

The Saph was Stage 1 before and a very quick car anyway, I think due to having done 135 K miles.......BUT now it's just so super responsive and smooth with fantastic accelaration - whatever gear is selected - even 5th at 80 MPH....

Thanks Karl - master at work....

for sure marco
i loved mine, not really any different now apart from i now run greens
only moved up to greens because while i was up there having a check over one time we hit 30psi by mistake. it felt so good with the little t3,we didnt want to turn it down, but didnt have enough fuel with the dark blues.
so bunged some greens in and 10 hrs later we had over 2 bar to 6k and holding 20psi to 7.3k

No problem Lee, even let you have a drive! You seem like a sensible chap........only followed you twice - in Bristol City centre saw more of the side of your RWD saph than the actual rear

My Saph is peaking at 1.8 BAR (26.5 psi) and holding 1.5 BAR (22 psi) until 5,200 rpm then the boost is tailing off to 1.2 BAR (17 psi) at the limiter (soft cut limit is set to 6,950 and hard cut to 7,100 RPM).

No, the previous owner (Nigel Cox - known as "Coxyboy" on RSOC BB)
fitted a YBO 611 (Group A) head gasket at 129 K miles when he had the head overhauled (new valve seals etc).

I LOVE my gunship conversion. Its miles quicker than a lot of other stg 1 cossies. I cant recommend him enough. i noticed at santa pod also, that my car was quicker than quite a few stg3 cars on the quarter mile because the turbo spins up so quickly.
