Sounds mental.....on my stage 3 i had a 2bar peak and then dropped to 26psi and the initial surge is great and you can then feel the boost drop...on 38psi and then 33psi it must feel stupid..LOL...as my 8 inj was mental enuff at a held 32psi 
BUT and this is not a dig..as Karl is in an answering mood:-
1...How long will a T4 last at that boost?
2...Is (i am assuming) a std bottom end ok at an 8300rpm limit?

If run permanently at that boost Phil, not long, buts that why we have the in car adjuster, so that most of the time the turbo will run sub 2 bar. Then whenever the time arises the boost can be raised to exploit the maximum potential for short durations only.
Nutters engine is'nt std bottom end as it happens, but 8300rpm is 100% safe.

My old conversion used lots of Boost 40psi tailing off to 37 can confirm it went well
.Best of luck with this conversion & hope you go well at totb3.
Target figures from my old conversions final run:
12.1 @ 127 & 179.4 @ 1.25 miles ( you should beat them)

smart, glad to see another completly anti-social fuel guzzling beast is on the roads hope u got a lot of space on your licence, good work everyone involved having been in loads of 400BHP+ cossies, going out in broms old 500bhp saff was a truly mental experience, the diff between an 8 injector T4 car and a greys/T35 car is truley phenominal
