Default Car alarm just went off :S anyone got a clifford 300 manual?

im sitting in the house and i just heard my alarm go off and its in the garage all locked up. Nothing in the garage to set it off so very confused :s

i dont have a manual for the alarm so can anyone help please...

when i pressed the keyfob the alarm chirped 3 times. Then when turning ignition on but not starting the car the alarm light flashed 4 times. Can anyone look at the manual and tell me what that means please? I know the flashes are like a code for different reasons.

ta

The 4 flashes is to let you know the alarm actually went off. I know that as my old man's does that if that goes. Probably just having a mad half hour mate - as no disturbance and the garage hasn't been tampered with.

If it's an integral garage then you'd hear if someone was having a pop at it. One of those mate !!!!

Someone will be able to confirm this, but if it's the same as the 600 with regards to chirps/LED-flashes, then it's the following (from my 600 manual):

3 chirps = Alarm disarmed but there was an intrusion attempt while you were away
4 LED flashes = Door open/ajar/tampered with

now rich its funny you should say that!!! our garage is integral to the house and its totally enclosed with only the main door. at back of garage directly behind the wall is our utility room and on the wall backing to the garage there is a microwave! my gf was cooking supper at the time using the micro too!

go and play - you will be able to set it off every time..
Microwave sensor!
I disable mine from the fob if i remember before i use the microwave...
one of the well documented "false alarm" triggers.

bottom left button + top right button both together

intended for "if" you leave animals in the car with the alarm set, or your mobile..
your cell phone stands a good chance of setting it off if you leave it in the car switched on in close proximity to the microwave sensor and the alarm armed. (set mine off a couple of times in petrol stations like that, received txt msg while i was paying.. )
