I have a second hand one . These ECUs are fully stand alone and programmable via a lap top. Price is £470.

The dizzyless loom (for extra ignition amplifier etc) is £55.

I thought it might have been a complete secondhand cossie loom already modified or something like that.

Sorry, Mike Rainbird has given you the wrong website address..

It is www.s8ecu.co.uk

There have been supply issues in the past which have been completetly
my fault due to lack of time and these are being resolved this month as a
new company has taken over manufacture and distribution.
These will be back on sale within the next 2 weeks.

Hopefully Mike Rainbird will be still selling them (yet to ask him !).

I will NOT be selling directly !!

Mike does have 1 left in stock, this is second hand but will be sold fully
waranted and tested.

What would i need off you to run the management system, with dizzyless ignition. what other features does this ecu have and does it come with a laptop interface and software? Can most tuners set this up?

ANY tuner can use this system and many novices have used it too !!

The software is easy to use but any engine tuning needs skill and experience !!!

Karl Norris (NMS) has done quite a bit with the S8 mainly on big power cossies.

Thoguht that might be the case, hence i asked!

In which case to get you up and running you need:

The ECU

umm, well thats it!

Then at a later date you add the coilpack loom if you wish, and a lambda sensor etc.

You buy the SECS, you then have 3 choices:

Run it on existing loom and dizzy etc

Run it on existing loom plus sub-loom for dizzyless

Buy a complete new room from ryan made for dizzyless
