Default Anyone still running the original diff in their Cossie?

Interested how durable the rear 7.5" rear diff is. What hp do they tend to break? Thanks.

I would say around the 330-350bhp mark they will break with hard launches.

I have know people with 500+BHP Cossies run standard diffs and as they have never launched them they were fine....But they did drive like a big girls blouse.......Didnt they Fagin

Depends a lot how much grip you got.

My car had about 400bhp, 30psi boost, antilag, and was seriously seriously abused, but never broke a diff, and i presume mine was standard.

But i had fuck all standing start grip due to a lot of rear camber and pussy thin tyres.

I had a standard diff and launched it everywhere and had no problems with a Alcon 6paddle kit, then i fitted an AP 4 paddle clutch and cover and blew the diff within a week, changed the clutch back to an alcon and uprated to gripper diff to have a lsd that works not due to weakness and not done another one since.

cheers
Daniel
