Default Need some advice.... Is it worth the hassle?

Right, got my mk5 Cabby on eBay. Need to shift it as owe my mum the money and it's untaxed. It needs a wheel bearing, new clutch fitting and has a bit of rot round the filler cap, as usual.

Now, it needs a bit of work but it's not a bad car overall and will be put right for relatively small money.

Problem is I don't think it will sell for a decent amount and somebody has offered me a straight swap for a Citroen AX GT. I don't need a car as I already have my Bravo but would I be better taking the swap and selling the AX?

It's apparently tested til September and has no knocks, squeaks, rattles etc. It's a K reg, whereas my cabby is a J.

No links going on here as it's not a for sale ad, I just want some decent advice.

Cheers guys

Cause the car is untaxed and I'm no longer insured on it so cannot take it to a garage and seeing as it is untaxed it is sat on a grass verge on my cul-de-sac.

As soon as the council come to cut the grass it will be noticed and although it's SORN'd, I'm sure that they will have something to say about it being there

Just need it shifted. If I had the means I would have it sorted when I get paid in a week's time.
