Default Door pin removal- NOW Out - Door lock removal?

Really pissing me off now. I need to take the door off, cnt unbolt it becasue of the dash - there is loads of extra wiring which would add 3 days to the job. I know there is a tool, but before i can get/use one, the pins need to drop a little further down so i can get tool in. Been twatting it, and like a spack ive just hit the knuckle on my thumb. Wont move. I'd use heat but then it will ruin the paintwork.

Help.....
