yb cleaning best thing to stop sh*t going in the ports help

as above really people im just about to start cleaning me engine but im a bit worried about stuff going into the ports any ideas ?????

I use scrunched up pieces of newspaper stuffed in the ports.

Seems to work ok. Just use large pieces so you can easily pull them out again. !

cheers simon , i just been using a bit of rag in each port at the mo ,i hate cleaning

it does look nice though

anytime i take the inlet off,, i tape up the ports

Thats fine if the head is de-greased.

I did try that on my last engine but it kept falling off
