Default pectel boost controller.....info needed please

just wondered how they work ? & what they are compatible with?
as in will it work on p8 with pectel board?

unit looks like this

You wouldn't need it on a P8 imo. Probably a boost controller from the Bronze age

was told it may control the boost at different rev ranges???

just thought it may be better than £300 for a turbosmart boost controller

a properly mapped p8 will have no problem with control of boost at any rpm a p8 has closed loop boost control, which basicly means it self monitors itself and alters its output too suit

My point was that the P8 is rather good at controlling boost - even with the lektron valve (obv. better with air injectors), depending on turbo and pressures of course.

i get ya now,,,,

turbo will be t34 unsure what boost i will be running yet??? find out in a few weeks when dyno's done
