i have just got a usa version dvd picture is 100%

but whats tha actual film like

Good film, they missed a few crap bits in the editing and at times it dragged on.

But well worth it.. very very good- sound track is awesome too

didnt think it was all that great

good start and thought it was going to get good.

but just seemed to be an anti climax.

Think that was part of the point mate.

The film is about how pointless the war was, it focusses on a guy who goes away to join the marines and gets posted to iraq. Hes there fore nearly a yaer and gets one chance at a shot which he isnt allowed to take. In the meantime however he splits with his gf and sees so many horiffic things that when he returns home, everything has been fucked up for the sake of nothing.

Agreed Black Hawk Down is one of top 5 favourite films

BHD is about action and fighting in somalia just full on combat from start to finish......

Jarhead has story lines to it that you have to follow

pretty good film i thought, can see where the comments above are coming from saying it dragged a little in places but definitely well worthy of a watch soundtrack is pretty cool too
