Default Advice on sports cat & 4-2-1 manifold please

Hi All, I am thinking of buying a Stainless Steel 4-2-1 exhaust manifold from here ( http://www.trustelectrical.co.uk/ )

Now I dont want the hassle of a de cat (MOT's) so does anyone know where I can get a sports cat to go with this manifold

My car is a 1997 mk6 1.8 Escort.

Cheers for any help

Steve

I had a look on ebay and there where some universal sports cats, but have not tried one so do not know how good they are, but was thinking of one for my mk6 RS2000 if they are good

Yep it is a pipe that connects upto the manifold but you can make up a flange or weld the sports cat to the 4 branch, if this makes sence

For what little gain you'd be getting for the cost, I'm not sure I can see the point.

Surely remove it altogether, or leave well alone.
