Between gasket and what?
The way you worded it sounds like you are putting two gaskets on top of each other?
That doesnt sound like a good idea in terms of accurately applying force to each fire ring to compact it by the right amount.
Going back to the sealer though, i never use any, most gaskets have a tiny amount of sealant built onto them anyway.

what are you expecting sealant to do once its dried?
do you think having a layer of weak material will help?
the standard "glue" they have on them is VERY VERY thin, i wouldnt want any more than that

never personally put anything on the Gasket. i always used a Partern Head gasket untill just before Xmas when it went again after the head was skimmed etc. stuck a GM head gasket on it and its been fine now.
