No deposits needed, this is'nt a group buy, I am simply trying to gauge the likely numbers I would sell. I am making them for my own engines but would consider offering them retail provided people are prepared to pay a worthwhile price. i.e. £320
They are designed to work with solid profiles and lifters.

Karl, out of interest, do you still deal with RS turbo customer's?
I heard a few people saying you won't bother with them anymore unless the customer has already had work carried out by you previously?
Any truth in that?

Yes there's some truth in it. A year or two ago I finally got so pissed off with the general poor condition (read death traps) of many RS turbos that I was condemning nearly everyone that turned up for a setup. This wasted not only their but my time too!!!
It ranged from but not exhaustively:
1.Totally rotten making vehicle unsafe
2.Bushes fucked making car wander everywhere
3.Faulty or NO brakes
4.Worn out tyres (or ditchfinder specials with odd tread on every corner)
5.Wrong camber, toe, due to rediculous lowering (undrivable)
6.Smokey tired engine
7.Slipping clutch
8.fucked turbo
9.crunching gearbox (or just fucked)
10.faulty alternator or/and starter motor (usually cooked)
11.gear selector so worn I cant engage any gear (bowl of porridge anyone?)
12.electric windows and heater broken so if its raining I steam up or freeze!
13.serious coolant/oil leak
14.Fucked fueling system meaning car runs dangerously lean
15.Fucked ignition/ecu system meaning car has serious on boost retard making car go very slow (this is a serious pain to cure)
16. No boot lock or door locks making life very awkward
17. Rediculous tinted windows so I can't even see out
And by far the most soul destroying complaint is despite all the above issues:
18. People requesting max power and boost from their RST's depsite all these problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thus now I tend to ask lots of questions about an RS turbo if its a car I have'nt worked on just to make sure its going to be ok! Thats said I had the dis-pleasure of working on the worst Rs turbo EVER just before xmas and it was supposed to be good according to the owner! Just goes to show that even despite being fussier than ever the turds still creep through!!!

Cool mate, so if the car is genuine good condition you'd probably work at it?
FPMSLMAO at that list too, although I know it's far from funny when you had to work on cars in them condition's.

George - ring Karl at NMS and he will help but from memory I think they chaps went away from this.
Also try Tim Butcher as he had the only set I have ever seen - but they came out of an N/A and I am not 100% sure they worked in the end.... Tim will know more.
