Karl must have some lined up as they are mentioned in the spec list of a car he's building, it's on his web site.

What exactly is the difference and the benefit of a roller rocker?

I know where theres a set I believe soon to be around soon also.

As for a price.. ... ... what are you gonna pay for somet thats not in ready prouduction, isn't available and never really was anyway etc etc.....

I believe from my sources that if you find a Lepricorn holding a bag of gold dust standing in some rocking horse poo at the end of the rainbow near some hens teeth... you'll probably find some there.

I have to say that you NMS boys sound like are really bigging them up pricewise ready for Karl!!!

Remember, people will only pay so much. Not only that, if they are too expensive, someone will only rip them off and the original person will find it hard to chop their price, for fear of upsetting those that had already bought. If that makes sense.

I hate to repeat myself again, but ever since I read Karl's site I want to know what they are, so:

What exactly is the difference and the benefit/advantage of a roller rocker?
Also, I just had a look on Karls site and the roller rocker isn't listed on there now!?

Nevermind, just had a little look around the net and read about them, one site claimed a 24.1bhp increase in power!

Is there really that much call for CVH roller rockers? Assuming that they are nothing too odd design wise they should be reasonably easy to machine.

Last year we made thousands of roller rockers for Chevy LT1's. They were billet Aluminum and looked similar to these:

The company who we supplied had them anodized; we had no dealings with the end user.

Bearing in mind the final price of them would be dictated by the demand for CVH ones ..... Something might be possible. The main initial cost on these would be the CAD work required, after that it's mainly just machine time.

Development time may also be slow (again depending on demand) as this might have to be the sort of thing that’s done in free time, not work time and I get next to no free time. Several people have asked for billet fuel rails and I still haven’t had the time to sort out the CAD work for them yet

Yes mate, there is call. I'm after a set desperatly. The CVH is one of the best 8v engines there is, but suffers from a shit valve train. It's heavy, and the high spring pressures make things wear quickly. Rollers would solve a LOT of problems.
