Default Is this a scam with private plates?
Is this a scam or is it normal in the number plate industry? Has anybody done a search on number plate sites just to get a rough valuation to what theres is now worth? I just done a search on mine for similar plates, on this website http://www.nngb.com/index.php and they have my plate thats on my car on there for sale .. is all that about?

I didnt realise it was for sale ..but on the plus side its gone up in value

they advertise your plate at a price then if they get a bid/buyer they will contact you asking if you want to sell it.

Just discovered that the Anglia van I was going to sell for £1750 has a plate on it thats worth £1800....
