after thinking abiut the old max power cars it got me thinking does anybody own any of them or knew anyone who had a one back in the day.
i.e project thunder etc or the staff cars or competiton cars.

Yeh i remeber Project thunder was it the vauxhall carlton with the 3 spokes?
i think it caught fire and then scrap! cor thats going back some years lol.

I've got a peugeot 205 that has cosworth engine & 4wd running gear that was on the front cover of max power in 1996.
It looked pretty much like it did in the feature when I bought it but I am in the middle of changing a few things.

the recent xbox fiat stilo that was given away (max power?) was on base here,it was won by a guy here. the question to win was "complete the sentence, i deserve to win the stilo because...." he replied " im ginger and drive a volvo!" 
its true! BUT....it is a s40 t4! 
shite car tho,LOADS of green all over it,full of fibreglass,he had it up for sale soon as he won it,for about 12 grand!
