1 head bolt hole on a cossy 205 block has a slight crack would that cause a problem what sort off powere level is it going to let go or will it be fine crack is across the head olt only car is fitted with a 3 layer shim head gasket car dont lose water or oil no over heating or powere loss

for now it should be ok. but the thing is, when the engine heats up the ali head and the cast block will expand at different rates. this is normal. but as it heats and cools a few times the crack may travel further into waterways or oil galleries. if your really worried about it, its worth taking the head off for a deeper inspection. just try and lay off the lead-foot ways and you shouldnt have too many problems.
