What a pain in the arse!! how have u done that on u'res?

yeah I think the pond pumps normally run off an AC adatptor so should take 12v quite happily. Gotta be worth a trip down to homebase or wickes or a place that sell fish tanks and take a look at one. They're so laid back in them places u could probably bring it back even after using it if it aint up to the job!

I was messing about with this the other day, i was using a standard washer bottle and two sizes of pipe, one the size of the bottle outlet and the other the same size as a nozzel off a WD40 spray can.

Misted really well and costs peanuts!!! lol

Lewis, failing all that, a wet nos kit "fogger" jet will work quite well

save your money - the water spray doesn't do much

i only managed a 6 C drop when i tested one a few years back

fit water inj - if you want to do it properly

hows WI doing it properly? Replacing air with water? It's only used when you can't get a better intercooler or lower charge temps and the loss off power by adding water is less than the gain of lowing the charge temps.

Spray cools the intercooler without putting water in the inlet and losing power.

1mm2 water injection jet with sierra washer pump gives a very good spray pattern.

I measured a 5 degree reduction in temps.

Think the key to having the pressure there is starting in a big pipe then going into a small pipe.

Sure I read the other day, and I quote..

It's better to have cold damp AIR hitting a hot IC, rather than hot air hitting a WET IC... !!!!

In other words, point the nozzles (presuming you're getting a mist) across the FRONT of the IC, not at it... Don't forget that at speed it'll blow straight back anyway..

HTH's..
