PC keeps rebooting, keep getting same error, help needed

Default PC keeps rebooting, keep getting same error, help needed

I can be working away at me PC when it just gies blank and reboots itself.

I then have an error report come up and it states the following

C:/DOCUME~\JASE\Locals~Temp/Wer-7ebc.dir00/mini122405-03.dmp

and

C:/DOCUME~\JASE\Locals~Temp/Wer-7ebc.dir00/sysdata.xmi

What does it mean, doing my haed in, pc baseunit cost me £600 sheets and it still dont work

any help please

its a

Athlon 64 3200
AN8 Board
2 gig Memory
256meg ATI Card

Running Windows XP

Any Help Please

could be many things unfortunately.

try a reinstall of xp, NOT a reimage from the manufacturer, if that doesnt cure it then unfortunately its a hardwasre problem.

id guess motherboard.

If you go into System then advanced, then the bit where it says Startup and Recovery, click settings, and un-tick the box Automatically Restart.
If this is Ticked when the system gets to an error it will just reboot.

If its do crash dumps as indicated by the "mini122405-03.dmp" then its quite often related to memory. If you have two sticks in try removing one, if it still happens swap it for the second stick and try again.

Fanks, the memory is the only thing i bought cheap so that could be the problem

Ive had the same problem since changing motherboard, PSU and graphics card. tried a new PSU and its still doing it!
