help with red light CAMERA
i dont know if this is allowed to be asked here.
me and my mates went out in 3 cars, we was driving around and we came to a set of traffic lights, my mates went passed it well they did not get flashed i went passed on the green and got flashed, so i got a letter through my door saying that i have been caught jumping light, i would like to know if it is possible to say that my girlfriend was the driver of the vehicle at the time, but my girlfriend does not have a full licence she has a provisional.
does anyone know if i would get away with it.

Does this translate to I was being a twat and ran a red light?
If the light was green it will be seen in the photo and the case should be dropped. Yes you could palm the points off onto your bird but if you get caught out you will be anally violated with a spade in court.
To be honest IF you did the deed just take it like a man and pay the fine and accept the 3 points

If you try claiming that then you could end up in a bigger pile of poo than what your in at the moment.
You'd have to look at whether the car had L plates displayed on it at the time, whether she was insured and if she is do you have 2 years driving experience to be able to sit in with her.
If the answer to any of the above is NO then don't even try and claim it was her driving.
Best way would be to state that the lights showed GREEN and ask them to verify this on the image (preferably sending you a copy to help identify the driver). The image will show the traffic signals, the white line and also your vehicle.

Perverting the course of Justice is a LOT more serious than 3 points. You would probably go to jail 
If you really did pass the light on Green then you wouldn't get done as its quite a complicated system, and the camera 100% knows what the light was on as there is a log.
