Yep. Missus went out and came back in saying the petrol light was on. I told her to fill the fucker up.

She's headed off to the horse so I assume will get fuel in Stevenage. I assume she did it ok as I haven't had a phone call from her telling me I'm a cnut yet

We really are a nation of fuuckwits...

All the advice on the news is dont panic buy..... so what do we do... panic buy.

Talk about a self fullfilling prophecy....

Good excuse for not going to work on monday and tuesday though..... sorry... got no petrol... everyone else in the office must have bought it

now i KNOW its stupid, but im going to make sure i fill up today.

not because i think there's a fuel shortage, but because i think EVERY OTHER BASTARD IS GOING TO BUY ALL THE PETROL

i like to think i'm in the minority that HAS to buy at times like these, as a full tank of petrol in my car lasts me only 200 miles, so if i dont fill it up now, and i cant but petrol mid-week then i'm carless

its the stupid pratts who fill up their cars that never get driven (1 tank would last them about 3 months) that wind me up and the people who fill up containers etc? ARRRGH... CVNTS

Jim....

The Buncefield depot ONLY supplies BEDS, HERTS & BUCKS

OTHER AREAS WILL BE UNAFFECTED as they are supplied by different depots..

Been told they are panic buying up here in the north east aswell, madness, the only affect it will have on up here is them having to supply those areas aswell. My friends boss (she works at a petrol station) said 'prefect reason to make the most of it and put the prices up'

If theres a shortage of a commodity, then Yes it does

I saw that a Bakery had its windows blown out. Better get down Asda's sharpish and stock up on Pies and Cake incase theres a shortage...

30 give or take AFAIK

This is the 5th largest. As Bernie* says mainly Aviation fuel and Kerosine.

* Thanks for the reply to my email the other day about "Impartial Advice" not sure if it was you or a colleague. But cheers

I got plenty of fuel to get me to work, and the RST has 3 1/4 tank, so i'll be alright for the Essex meet.
