Default really confused now....

someone help me before my head explodes!
this escort cosworth is still flooding to death......
ive changed virtually everything now and its still doing it.if i disconnect the injectors the car will eventually fire up and run until the fuel goes,if i reconnect the injectors it just floods and fills up the bores with fuel.ive tried my map sensor off my rs500 and it makes no difference.also changed the blue sensor back to original one-no difference.
whilst having these probs the owner decided to upgrade while it is in the workshop,so it has had light blue injectors and a collins chip fitted which runs with standard map sensor.changed all that and fault still there!

really baffled now, plus i cant get on with my rs500!!!

items to check/change.. if you havent already

pressure reg
phase sensor (in dizzy cap)
Water temp sensor (blue one by the dipstick)
ACT (brown sensor in the inlet manifold)
MAp sensor

also try different injectors

maybe worth looking at the fuel pump/relay but im guessing pressure reg isnt shutting off and is flooding your rail/injectors

it can only be one of two things...

a part faliure or a signal faliure to your injectors

it had the fault with the dark blue injectors in and now we have fitted the light blues in its still the same.ive changed the phase sensor in the dizzy and the blue temp sensor-ive even tried the old one again.the ecu has been re-chipped yesterday by collins to suit the light blues.the only thin i havent changed is the map sensor, but ive tried a standard 2wd one and still the same fault tons of fuel in the cylinders.the wiring loom doesnt look to clever either.just had the pressure reg out but there isnt much to see on it.if i suck on the vaccum pipe bit should i be able to blow through it

i cant.it does all seem to point to the fuel pressure or injectors opening too long, but the fault was there before it was re-chipped.is the only pressure reg the one on the fuel rail-there isnt one on the fuel pump assy or anything
