Yes it does serve a purpose, as does the horrendous looking front bumper and the cut away rear bumper. Aerodynamics.

is it not the third HKS R33 (7.671 181.98 mph) was the first, Shepherd racing eagle talon (7.976 @ 179 mph) was the second , Amazing time but

Matt- Was a blue R33, and yeah, i think thats the same bloke, quite a young chap.

Deffo got a sequential box, yea.

Dan- Skyline had a 160mph terminal and the Talon had a feckin insane 179mph terminal Shows the difference in grip the GTR mustve had to hit a 7 with a relativley low terminal!

What cracks me up in the Talon record video is the other car still beats him! AND i think the car in the other lane is a FWD dragster

a tad fast Sure I've got another clip of that car and it runs the turbo out the front bumper? maybe a similar car if not! looked mad

Turbo out the front bumper?! Ive never seen a Talon or a Skyline like that

no Shepherd racings new set up has a forward facing turbo with a big hole in the front bumper for it, I dont have any pics of it but i do have a video but its huge 140mb and only shows the set up for about 5 secs from the NOPI finals state side, shep racing talon, titan supra, titan tube framed supra engined somthing another and load more its on here www.imvfilms.com loads of great clips on there
