Default Car Battery Trickle Charger where can i buy one??

I need to buy a Battery Trickle Charger that plugs into the mains then into your cigar lighter.

As if i leave me car in the garage from more than 2 weeks the alarms etc.. drain the battery.

Look around a few place can`t find anything???

Clarks do one you put direct on to the battery, £10

or try mail order mags for motor bikes, as they suffer badly from this due to small batterys.

Cheers Gents for the info anyone got any links to them clarks ones Etc..

I really need one that plugs into the ciger lighter from the mains to keep the battery toped up and only charges when voltage drops. don`t want one thats goes onto the battery as the cars needs to be kept alarmed & locked.
solar pannel would be great if car was kept outside i need the same sort of thing but plugs into mains

what difference does it make if its on the battery or in the cigar lighter? either way you can still lock and alarm the car?

particularly good one here https://passionford.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=153186

Doo, do (sorry ) what i do and run the cable under the car, up by the rad and onto the battery!!
no need for bonnet up, and if you cant be arsed then run in through the vent, in the front bumper, or just shut the bonnet on the cable all will do no harm and wont interfere with alarm etc.

thats what mine did out in the garage all winter

http://machinemart.co.uk/ranges.asp?g=107&r=2058

or

http://www.mandp.co.uk/productInfo.aspx?catRef=536540

i have a lead just under my rear bumper with a connector on it, so i dont even need car keys to put it on charge etc etc.

why cant you fit a cigerette lighter plug on it?

Don't bother with the solar ones.. unless you only use them in the summer in Spain If your car needs a trickle charger then solar won't be enough unless it is BIG (and expensive)
