Default how do i work out my miles per gallon?

hi guys right petrol is around 89.9 and my car does around 55-60miles on a tenner

what does that give in MPG?

About 23.1mpg

That was for 57.5miles for £10

yeah thats town driving and the odd dual carriage way

i suppose at a constant 60mph it shud be better aint it?

1000 pennies divided by 89.9pennies per litre = 11.123litres

11.123litres divided by 4.5 = 2.471 gallons.

60 miles divided by 2.471 gallons = 24.28mpg.
