Default how to resize images

ive got a load of images that i want to reduce the file size i.e reduce the quality a little bit so it doesnt take up so much hard-drive space...

basically same as if i wanted to make my siggy smaller so eagle wont rape me...

whats a quick + easy way of doing it?
