Default Changing from 4-5 stud!

Right on the kit car were using 4 stud sierra rear hubs, with the plug in drive shafts.

Were looking to change these to 5 stud, still retianing the plug in shafts and the same ZF adjustable slip diff.

Is this possible?

Ps we have the drum setup now but going to the 5 stud will be cossie rear discs, but we need 5 stud hubs with the plug in shafts!

Sorry if this in the wrong forum but wanted to generate interest and also didnt know which one to put it into

Brad

it is possible - you need to get the rear hubs from a Granada Cosworth - that way you will have 5 stud hubs, and vented rear disks - just like 4x4 cossie ones

you'll not be able to use the slide in joints at the rear and have discs - but the old 2 litre ghia granadas upto 1990 had the slide in joints with drums at the back and 5 stud fittings

Ah damn it,
Will be a wilwood setup disc wise on the back, but really need to retain the plug in shafts as its specific to the diff,

do people not machine them out and use different cv's etc?
