through your house stereo or car stereo?

If its your car then alpine do a link up system which allows your ipod to be controlled through your headunit, and if it your household then you need to purchase a compatible hi fi with a docking station, currys do one for £249

you could connect the old ipod's up to the newer range of alpine head units, if you havent got an alpine not sure what you could do other than buying an itrip (if they do one for youre model ipod)

you could just connect it through your aux in connections on your home stereo...

and for your car stereo, FM transmitter, just tune your car stereo into the right frequnecy...



costs about a tenner in all

Exactly what I was gonna suggest mine works a treat indoors on the stereo and I have a Griffin iTrip for the car works great but you do get some interference sometimes

Yes, almost any hifi shop. Even Comet and places like that will have them. Pay up and get a better one than that though!

You can get white ones that match the pod as well if you really want.

there are NO shops that sell fm transmitters as its ILLEGAL! but.....get one from ebay! its something about you could transmit over someone elses signal that makes it illegal,but i have one and its very good!

Yep, Its true they ARE illegal its all todo with the UK's piracy laws. Cant really see anyone getting nicked for it thou ? Mind you with our barmy Judicial system someone probably would !

( By the way the piccy of the iTrip above is for an Ipod mini and there are different versions of iTrip depending on which Ipod you have !!!)
