i used to like them and wanted one!

then kris steered me clear of them! him and his ex lisa had some pretty strong opinions on them - have a word with him!

Not too sure but i know the v6 motors are robust because my dads had an st24 for the last 3 years and its never missed a beat.

I think there the same engines anyway(2.5 v6)?

Actually i think theres a 2.0 aswell isnt there?

one of my mates is on about getting one, v6
told him series 2 is the way to go will not listen
someone back me up!!???

The engine is different to the 2.5 V6 in the Mondeo. The prob one is a Maxda unit.

Good cars in my opinion for the money but not very quick.

i had a probe.. 2.5 v6 24v... i killed it.!!! 74k on the clock full service history from ford bar 1... first the pre cat went.. caused a miss-fire.. within two miles the big ends went.!! then she smoked like an addicted arsonist.!

Excellend drive.. good handling 170 bhp.. v6 grunt and sound.. great high revin engine.. 7000rpm

full leather
elctric windows,mirrors, sunroofs,air con.cruise control.. ect ect...

can you see why i want another.?

i had one,m reg 2.0 16v model only paid Ł200 for it and sold it a few weeks later for Ł900 never liked them myself but only brought it because it was cheap i actually did quite enjoy driving it though to be honest
idicator stalks are on the right side of the steering wheel which i found a bit weird

V6's are nice to drive and fully loaded. Can have a few electrical 'issues'..........

I owned a red 2.5 24v v6 version for a couple of years, great car!
I rebuilt the engine over that time and almost all the parts had to be reused/built as ford no longer make any of them, including crankshaft and conrod bearing shells. Fantastic car thow.
