Not too sure but i know the v6 motors are robust because my dads had an st24 for the last 3 years and its never missed a beat.

I think there the same engines anyway(2.5 v6)?

Actually i think theres a 2.0 aswell isnt there?

The engine is different to the 2.5 V6 in the Mondeo. The prob one is a Maxda unit.

Good cars in my opinion for the money but not very quick.

i had a probe.. 2.5 v6 24v... i killed it.!!! 74k on the clock full service history from ford bar 1... first the pre cat went.. caused a miss-fire.. within two miles the big ends went.!! then she smoked like an addicted arsonist.!

Excellend drive.. good handling 170 bhp.. v6 grunt and sound.. great high revin engine.. 7000rpm

full leather

I owned a red 2.5 24v v6 version for a couple of years, great car!
I rebuilt the engine over that time and almost all the parts had to be reused/built as ford no longer make any of them, including crankshaft and conrod bearing shells. Fantastic car thow.
