If you read FIA technical regulations you will find that heater is required for any eveenrt taking part outside race track i.e. rally. WRC cars of course have them.


As to stripping the car. Back in those days even Grp. N rallycars had to have almost complete interior including rear seats and sound deadening!!!

Has anyone any photos of a Grp N Escos back in the day...to see just how stripped it was?

Only got some ics from outside - will ask my pics guru to find some. Maybe someother Grp. N make in the day?

Generally they would have rear seats with holes for rollcage.

My plans was to leave the dash as is...got plenty of gauges etc..LOL...leave door cards on....just loose the carpet...proper buckets and harnesses with a good roll cage....loose the rear seat.

Pics of all rally escos in grp a and n would be good!

It's a good plan. Probably you could have less build up cage and rear seats too if you want to. I will try to sort some pics.

So far I found only Grp. A and road car comparison with photos. Will look further.
