Phil,
As there seem to be a lot of questions coming from your side and a lot of crap coming from others
I thought I'd offer my 2 cents worth...
You have a roadcar with grp.A livery, wich is fine if you like that sorta thing.
As for the spec level: WRC spec is not do-able unless you've got a huge budget and in that case you would have probably bought a WCR car in the first place. Also, it wouldn't be very practical on the road.
Grp.A spec will also take LOTS of mods and in order to fit 1 grp.A part you tend to need 3 others just to make that first one fit...so I wouldn't go there either.
Your best bet is to turn it into a mid-nineties Grp.N spec car wich is pretty much the same as a recce-car.
In the mid-nineties they needed to have doorcards in place as well as rearseats but why not ignore that and take it out as per Grp.A?
The thing to remember here is that it isn't a recce-car nor a Grp.N car so it doesn't have to comply with the same regulations either!
Build it the way YOU like it, you're the one paying for it and you're the one that has to like it.
By the way, do your shocks fit the standard turrets? Grp.N topmounts, rollbar mounts etc. are still available and it pay's to use them!
I fitted the escort I had with Grp.A stuff and I can tell you it's A LOT of hassle mate...but if you need info please feel free to ask...
And now back to the ussual bickering
