Default CVH engine cranking slowly as if battery is dead... HELP!

Right, my car sometimes starts fine, other times it tries to start but it does it slower and slower as if the battery is losing charge. I'm gonna bob down to Halfrauds in a bit and change the plugs but is there anything else I should think about?

Ł40-60 exchange at a guess
you could try buffing up the connections, see if it helps much. Sorted mine that way before.

why try the expensive things first when you could well be only missing an earth braid off the engine to the battery?

If its not a turbo try getting an xr2 starter! I had this problem on my orion ages ago and sometimes the starter would not even turn but thats when it was hot and if it was stalled
Xr2 one spins loads faster!

Yeah if it's hot it's harder to start the car, and if it stalls it sometimes doesn't wanna start again straight away.
