No mate, Martin has a Gripper (ZF copy I believe) I was going to buy it as a spare but don't think I will ever need it so PM him

Complete unit

I'd SERIOUSLY think about going 3.9 final drive. That will take the stress out of things a bit, and get the CWP polished and peened whilst you are at it mate

the ATB is mantance free, At some point the plated will need adjusting,
I have no Idea which is stronger but we had no problems with the 7.5 in Rods old set up.

I dont know too much about ratios lee All I know is the diff i took out was 3.62 so will the diff martin has got be ok with my front diff,I had the CWP polished and peened on the diff i just broke, it would have been ok if part of the planet gear hadn't got in the way.

Thats a Bugger Nick, but it sounds like you are well on the way to getting it fixed. Im sure you will be back in the new year. Even if im not competing will come to see you attempt 190. Stick with present ratio if thats your aim.
Cheers Rod

as sed above.

Gripper or Atb,

i run a ATB 7" in rear P+SP, and a plated front 6 1/2, both 3.6 ratio's and both seem fine at mo.

I can't understand why you have got nearly a 600+ bhp saff and yet you run a standard diff did you think the standard diff was up for the job

marco the standard diffs were rebuilt by TAL motorsport as a stop gap until i got the plated diffs, the front casing is a quaife thick wall,They would of been ok for a bit longer if i had not tried launch it at 6,000RPM. I think you are familiar with TAL motorsport a little bird told me SO the answer to your question is I DID NOT THINK STANDARD DIFFS WOULD LAST FOR EVER,so now do you understand.O and by the way the clutch is a hydrolic 7.25 twin plate super clutch just in case you thought i was really stupid so now you can stop worrying

Good answer i like it,I was not trying to be funny with marco but to many people presume you dont know what you are doing without knowing the facts,I put a DPE Ł2,500 gear box in and paid another Ł500 for an uprated input shaft,But i new the diffs were easy to change at a later date and would last longer than the clutch and standerd gear box, people on here know how much money and time it takes to build these cars befor they are ready.Remember we drive FORDS not FERRARI'S

LOL, i have broken an engine a year, and 5 gearboxes and i`m on my 6. year now with the car, so i can follow that expression
That gearbox, is it noisy?
Am thinking about using the fixit on the street, and a dogbox for racing, but dont want to spend 10.000Ł just for this.
Who build it and whats the pricetag on this?
