Cool pic I took today!
Couldn't resist it, what a pic! I'm gonna frame it,these things are mentally HUGE! sorry it's a bit dark.I've been tearing around a quarry for the last 2 days providing Medical/Rescue Cover for Top gear, a real good few days(and yes, I've got blue lights on the roof of my Warrior! The ultimate mod.

Here's another, I thought my truck was big, but these rock, apparently in Germany they have em twice as big, sorry it's a bit dark, but it was early oclock this morning.

Ive driven one of those 
my dad knew someone who worked at a opencast mine and that drove one em , and he let me have a go in it one saturday morning

They sound quite quiet (for there size)believe it or not, I don't know why, but they have Fire hoses on the roof(see first pic?)Can you imagine a road legal one!

the diesel engine provides power to electric motors that run the wheels
the fire hose is for water to keep the dust down
from the angle of the picture it looks more like a water boweser
did it have a tipper on the back or a tank
PS THATS ONLY A SMALL ONE

We have land next to a quarry and on night my dad jumped over the fence wandered down to one of thoose things and started it, couldnt work out how to stop it though
