i recomend not using one. and if you do, get a piston one, the diaphram ones are always leaking and causing problems.

I have found the FORGE MOTORSPORT GROUP A one to work the best ....

I get chatter even with the dumpvale........

Got a Bailey piston one and a diaphragm one.Use neither cos they get right on your tits after a while! Chatter it is for me(or strangled turkey as some put it).

I've not even heard the HKS SSQV yet on my Pulsar and I'm thinking of getting a standard re-circ to replace it. I can see it getting on my tits big time.

Can't be arsed with dump valves.

They aren't needed on most road cars so why bother. Ditching the DV off my RST has only improved the way the car drives and I for one won't be putting one back until the boost levels dictate one is required

Does not running a d/v damage the turbo in any way? What sort of power do you need to be pushing out to really need a d/v?

I'm in the same boat
I don't trust the standard one after a split diaphram and am not sure I the noise from a boy racer one would piss me off after a while.

Would it hurt a stock turbo running 21 psi if I did not use one?

Jamz - i had the HKS Sequential BOV on a couple of rs turbo's and they really do sound better than any of the others but i sold it with the car and wasnt forking out for another one.
