Not sure what this "re-wiring" thing is either, as I can and do already run Hi-Def with both my PS2 and XBOX..... perhaps RS COS needs re-wiring!

Best thing you can do is go and visit Comet (they probably have the best ready selection of Plasma's and LCD's on display) and see which best suits YOUR requirements and taste.

The picture quality is very subjective to your requirements and acceptability..... for all I know you could be as blind as fook and will be sticking a 42" plasma 30 feet from where you sit, meaning a plasma of 1995 technology will do.

Once seeing one in the flesh, you can always then mooch around the internet for the best deal.

Got a 43' Pioneer Plasma and its STUNNING. Really really good. Awesome Picture. Can't wait for HD tv next year

right, looked abit more into these... even went comets as recommended

LCD is looking favourable, but budget only allows for 37inch.. Can PS2 play on these??

Also, the one Im looking at has 2 scart.. I will have 3 scart, so best way to do it? to keep best quality?

Phillips LCD ok?
