A mondy SI 4x4?

OK I know they ain't the best looking cars (in standard guise) but I would have thought somebody might have done it just to be different.

Just a thought.....

Then I will have to take one of these

Not something you see too often tho, is it?

Plus I did kind of mean putting it straight in on the existing Si 4x4 running gear.

Its cool man. The reason I know about it is my mate has the original engine from it in his garage. I dont think the engine would go straight in an SI as I am sure it is mounted transverse where the Cossie is longitude so some work would be required.

Anyways these are the questions that should be asked here and not piss takes!!!!!!!!

Would be a nightmare to mount it to the si running gear as thats set up for a transverse engine. It can be done but WHY!?!?!?! the 4x4 si tranmission would last less than 3 seconds!

LOL don't worry Porkie, not something I want to do or anything. Just wanted to know if there was a major underlying technical reason why nobody bothers.

I feel a bit silly for totally forgetting that the engines are mounted differently tho
