How come nobody has ever put a cosworth engine into.....
A mondy SI 4x4?
OK I know they ain't the best looking cars (in standard guise) but I would have thought somebody might have done it just to be different.
Just a thought.....

Plus I did kind of mean putting it straight in on the existing Si 4x4 running gear.

Its cool man. The reason I know about it is my mate has the original engine from it in his garage. I dont think the engine would go straight in an SI as I am sure it is mounted transverse where the Cossie is longitude so some work would be required.
Anyways these are the questions that should be asked here and not piss takes!!!!!!!!

Would be a nightmare to mount it to the si running gear as thats set up for a transverse engine. It can be done but WHY!?!?!?! the 4x4 si tranmission would last less than 3 seconds!
I feel a bit silly for totally forgetting that the engines are mounted differently tho
