Could someone please answer some Q ( secs )
Basically i have a stage 3 saff , and im looking to make some changes soon , and heard alot recently on this site about SECS moniters etc to be honest i dont really know what they do ? so if anyone could explain roughly what they do and roughly what kind of price would be involved ,and mostly is it or can it be a d.i.y job or should i keep my money in my pocket lol because i dont need it ? pushing 360bhp just now

I have one which I took of my saff when I sold it as it’s a very useful bit if kit. It basically wires in to the ECU and displays all the information from the engine sensors. RPM, Water temp, MAP pressure, Intake temp, volts, throttle position
You can also map water injection with it and fit a shift light and an alarm function if anything goes over your predefined settings. Oh and it will also recall peak data. & as it runs of the cars own sensors its great for diagnosing sensor faults

You can DIY at a push.. Take it to any auto electrician and it will be fine. You need to open the wiring plug that goes on the ECU and just solder in to the pins. Instructions tell you which ones, there are about 10 wires I think..
