Why is cheesecake called cheesecake, does it have traces of cheese in it or somthing?

ive never dared eat any, as didnt like the sound of a cheesey tasting cake.

so it dont taste of cheese?

id not be suprised, for years when i was younger id never go near cadburys cream eggs as i was convinced that was proper egg in there

lol, supermarket cheesecake taste really different, i once had some homemade stuff in a cafe and it really did taste of cheese, was horrible!
