Afternoon all,

To cut a long story short, I sold a car privately, the person took the car then cancelled part of the payment (Yeah I know I should have waited till payment cleared before releasing the car).

Well he has refused to pay the outstanding and i've taken him through the local small claims court and they have passed judgment in my favour. However, he still hasn't paid up and the bailiffs have said they can't find him (Even though I know he is still working from the same premises).

Now my problem is that I desperately need the money to pay for some repairs to my RS Cab.

Does anyone know of any other way I can get this judgment enforced against him so I can get the money i'm owed?

Any help at all with this would be hugely appreciated as i've run out of ideas.

I've given the bailiffs the address of his bodyshop but apparently they still couldnt find him!!!

I've now sent them copies of photos of what he looks like.

He's now sold the car on and bought another, which I have also given them the details of.

He's not small, no idea if he has a dog or not. But from what i've heard, his bodyshop is not the most friendly of neighbourhoods.

Piss taking aside, you have to go back to the small claims court with photo evidence that hes still there, the Bayliff will then HAVE to go and get the money you're owed. If it carries on to the end he CAN loose his business over it, because the court will rule he has to pay you somehow.

Aint the world just full of wankers who want to try and fuck you over all the time.

apply to the court for an enforcment order, they can force him to pay by immediately taking his possesions or if he is paye they can make him give you the money by taking it from the employer before he gets it
