building regs - help advice
i've removed a studded wall in my bathroom to make it one room instead of a separate WC and bathroom.
Im selling my house and a query has been raised by the buyers solictor asking if the removal of the studded partition required building regulation or planning permission.
now it was none load bearing flimsy as fook - next doors is gone?
any idaes if I needed planning etc?

Me mum n dad done that to one of our old house's they didn't need any planning permission!
I'm almost sure you won't need to get any planning permission unless you are affecting an outside wall!

you will not need building regs but most likely you will have to get the building regs people write you a letter saying that building regs is not needed
we had to do something similar with our conservatory...
After we got the letter and sent it off to the sols we then had to go back and get aletter saying we did not need planning permission

as james says contact building control, they will likely check it out and give you a letter of confirmation.
This is why you should always get building control to oversee any DIY work like removing walls you do as it makes less hassle later on when selling. Even if its only a stud wall, building control will give you a scrap of paper saying so for you to keep till ya in this situ
costs ya but saves ya if ya get me!

am I now going to get trouble doing it retrospectively?
it was only a simple studded wall. it nearly fell down on its own pmsl
what sort of cost is it to get building control or whoever to have a look?
