Just got back from spain, not my cuppa tea. :(
Just got back from spending 2 weeks in benidorm with my girl, first time iev been, and have to say that i woulnd'nt go there again. Dont get me wrong, the weathers nice, but the people and clubs ETC are crap. Anyone else think that? i went to cyprus last year and it was a much nicer place. We went out clubbing a couple of times but it didnt have the atmosphere that most places do. It also feels VERY much like brighton, lol. Went all inclusive and got a nice tan though, so im not compaining.

im not comparing with brighton at all, just VERY much reminds me a typical british coastal holiday which i was trying to get away from. Very commercialsed and totally different to what i was expecting.

I'm put off by these sort of place's becasue its usually full of your typical "brits abroad" its just like saturday night in any UK city centre only hotter
Much prefer places off the beaten track or places of intrest where you can get a good idea of the countries traditions/food/drink/scenery etc. Alot of people go on holiday just to go clubbing and get pissed every night, dont understand that to be honest, cause if i'm spending a fair amount of money on a holiday i dont want to be doing something i could do at home for next to no cost

Now Alcudia, Port des torrent and Tooravieja are all wicked places.
I guess its the same with most places these daus, thers good and bad everywhere

I just come back from Ibiza and I've got to agree in some ways, I found the Ibiza clubs over rated and very comercial plus mental money! most costing 50euros to get into the clubs.. In one we went into they wanted 8euros for a small coke and 22euros for a glass of wine!
But to be honest to get the most from these clubs you need to get there 2am+ when we got there at 1:00 there where loads of drunk chavs with football shirts on etc by 2:00 they'd all fucked off and the later it got the better quailty of people.
Tons and tons of scousers in Spain Liverpool must be a ghost town in August

Went to Benidorm in 96 and won't ever go back. Climbed over a hill behind our hotel that was a couple of blocks back from the beach, only to see a shanty town like I had seen in videos of Sau Paulo. Couldnt believe it.
We also got caught up in some "Brits on the Piss" lads all with these t-shirts on. Weather was good though but met more English people there than in my home town.

first day back at work today
amazing place imo
if your interested in this kind of thing then it has an amazing history aswell, some really sickening
famagusta is proper spooky 
the troodos mountains are aresome to drive through
we stayed here.... http://www.aeneas.com.cy/index.htm
booked it direct with hotel, sorted our own flights and saved tonnes of cash compared to package deals
whilst its only 2km outside the cheddar of aiga napa (getting a bit old for that shit lol) it was really quiet, clean, friendly
the place aint particularly cheap like other european holiday resorts, aiga napa is all buy one get one free and a bottle of shooters bollox but its basically same as here
watch out for the local perverts though, i got photo'd and applauded for shagging our lass on the balcony at 4am one night pmsl ..... cant take us brits anywhere PMSL

sticky vicky was shite IMO, saw her one night in a bar and didnt find her funyn at all. Maybe its just me. It was my first day back today, i hate going back, but i got tomorrow off which is ok. i really likes cyprus, might have to go again next year. I drove through the troodos mountains last year and there are some amazing views, and your above the clouds which is pretty cool too.
