Default which oil pump for 200bhp+ cvh

as above,,

i would of thought that a high flow pump from the likes of burton power would be the way to go on a big power cvh,,,

but some people have said to use a standard ford 1????

whats your views please

cheers

You want a high flow one rather than high pressure ala a Burton Special. Unfortunatly nobody we know of makes a high flow pump for a CVH anymore. Mr C and I are both using standard Ford items.

Of the options that are currently available, I would use (and do use) Standard Ford.

Pressure is meaningless, the DFV uses less than 40psi. A mini engine runs 80psi, hot...
