actually just remembered - i know an interior retrimmer so i may just get him to sort mine out when he does he rest of the car or I can try and twist my mates arm to sell me his mint sterring wheel and take mine in px


How much does Mike charge for this and what is the turnaround time?

Mike,

The wheel I want doing is a suede 3 spoke personal, is that a problem? I know some people only do leather....

If not i'll post ot down to you...

Mike what does the leather wear like as the leather on my RS steering wheel is going sticky and getting roughed up like suede, been told its a a commen problem on fords RS steering wheels.

Its black....hard and round....feels lovely but showing signs of wear....

The steering wheel is exactly the same

That is the problem with suede, it does this after a very short time. In fact we have already done one of those exact steering wheels, but converting it to black leather and red stitching (to match a red car as well ), as it went like yours has in only a few months of buying it brand new.

Andy,
The leather / stitching is very good quality and the longest that one has been on the car so far is 7 years and still going .

i got mine done a couple of months back from mike and the quality is amazing,looks to me like it will last a good couple of years b4 even lookin old

Good stuff Mike just waht i needed to know, thats long enough for me



Would this one be ok to retrim?? Magenta stictching would be cool to match the colour of my car I would obviously send it without the center as the leather in the center is embossed with the RS logo and i wouldnt want to loose that. Oh and is it still £75 ish???

Thats the wheel fitted to the car, and a pic of the colour of the car its self. Its a Magenta / Maroon colour.
