Default Mondeo turbo

I see lot's of people use zetec engine's in fiesta's and escort's with turbo's
and getting excellent result's but have not seen a mondeo done

Is there any reason for this like the set up of the car or is it just
an old man's car that no one want's to do?

I know power engineering done a conversion but was limited to what
power it could run for some reason

What about the Cossie'd snot green Reyland Mondy with 4x4 running gear? I'd have happily given up a bollock to own that car.

Tell you what, Ish, he can lend it to us to use as a project car, 'cos the way our shonky S2 is going at the moment, we won't have anything to write about in a couple of issues' time.

That top one is the exact power engineering one i was on about! it was
advertised in auto trader and i was going to buy it but it had a engine
knock which i think was piston slap. I took it for a test drive but was
expecting more out of it so i phoned power engineering and asked
about rebuilding the engine and getting more power out of it but was
told this was not possible due to it's design
They never went in to detail as to why but it put me of the car which
is a shame as it was a tidy car low mileage but lack of history
