Default Exhaust Gaskets wich way on coossie head?

Hi guys, just put exhaust manifold back on, I put the metal side of the gasket facing the head, and I just read you put the metal side on the manifold side is this correct? If I leave it now that I touqed it all up will it be fine?

I am pretty sure Stu once said... soft side of gasket to soft metal, so that would be gasket metal to manifold and hasket paper/card to head.

Sound like you have it the wrong way round
